Magdalena Bay 2024

If there is something Baja California sur has to offer its the diversity of seasons and species of fish you can have during all year round. It all start wether you are in the Gulf of baja ( sea of cortez) or in the Pacific ocean.

But sides will fill your days with plenty opportunities to encounter different kind of fish, on different depths and techniques.

Since October, we have the sardine run on the pacific side, more in concrete on Magdalena bay, out of puerto San Carlos.

The sardine run is on its own already an impressive show of nature. Marlins, tunas, sea lions, whales and birds. They all congregate to hunt the bait balls in a beautiful frenzy act of underwater hunting.

Knowing this phenomenon occurs from October to December we do Spearfishing trips to the area. having adventures for a week where our guests get to hunt for Marlin, wahoo, Tuna and dorado on the open water, while also having the opportunity to do reef hunting for amazing broom tails, snappers, yellow tail and other amazing reef fish in the area.

Days are long and the hunting is exhausting, but that is what an underwater hunting experience should be in a majestic area like this. Making the results even more rewarding after all the effort put into the hunt.

Season its about to end for this year. But we will be ready and preparing for next year, hoping to keep putting our guests on an amazing experience and helping them land their dream fish on a trip of a life time.
